Muddy Blues (not Monday Blues)

Content to Be(SOLD), 30×30 oil on canvas. Okay, okay, I haven’t quite altered/lightened my palette yet to combat the oppressive gray skies that are upon us,but this painting is still light enough to pull it off. Muddy blues are my thing these days and I’m having a hard time letting them go even though I–and everyone else–could use some color! Maybe I should just paint one of my studio walls a citrus color and continue my love affair with the earthy browns and blues I use in my art. Hmm.
