Sky Study, oil on cradled board, 8×10 SOLD
I’ve been working on a number of larger canvas pieces getting ready for a show at Allied Arts in July. They range in size from 24×24 inches to 48×64 inches. The scale is an important factor for this body of work. But understandably, in this economy, small works have come into vogue as a means for artists to survive and sell works. Translating my atmospheric meanderings to small has been a topic I’ve explored and discussed more than once already on this short lived blog. Today I did this 8×10″ study for a larger piece. Working on board was new for me–and I liked it! More to come.
