This group of paintings evoke the format of a Rothko colorfield painting, vertical with bands of landscape forms.  Simple, but complex; a distillation of color and light and nature's elements.  Created on 3/4" canvas with 3/4" deep frames, this choice of materials allows me to offer this size at a discount to other similar sized paintings using more robust materials.  See in person for the best color interpretation.  Because these paintings are created with layers of color, they present different in different lighting situations.  Blue grey highlight, with grey green and shadow blue.  Framed in clear maple with black interior floater frame.
