flocking, 30x30" oil on canvas, unframed

I've been thinking about swarming behavior of flocks, the one that arises from simple rules that are followed by individuals and does not involve central coordination.  The idea of murmuring--adding energy--to an atmosphere is also appealling to me.  This is 30x30" oil on canvas on 1 1/2" deep stretcher bars, unframed.
